Notes and assignment over Proving Lines are Parallel for High School Geometry.

ABOUT THE LESSON:
This lesson includes the following postulate and theorems:
- Converse of the Corresponding Angles Postulate
- Converse of the Alternate Interior Angles Theorem
- Converse of the Alternate Exterior Angles Theorem
- Converse of the Same-Side Interior Angles Theorem
IN THIS LESSON, STUDENTS WILL:
- given information about angle pairs (i.e. angles are congruent, supplementary, or if given angle measures), determine if two lines are parallel
- use algebra to determine if two lines are parallel
- justify all reasoning with converse postulates and theorems (listed above)
THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES:

This lesson DOES NOT include proofs. Proofs involving parallel lines can be found in Lesson 4: Parallel Line Proofs.
