This is a pumpkin investigation recording sheet. Students will document information gained from investigating and exploring a pumpkin. This is a great activity for a fall/autumn science lesson.

Activities include measuring a the height of a pumpkin with linking cubes and around a pumpkin with chain links. Students will predict whether the pumpkin will sink or float and test their hypothesis then record the data. Other activites include documenting relative size, height and width as well as the number of lines on the pumpkin.
