Description

Pyramid addition worksheets, suitable for second grade or year 3.

Make addition and problem solving fun with these print and go activities. These are designed for grade 2 or year 3 but could be used in other year groups, depending on abilities.

There are 5 differentiated sheets with answers.

The easiest sheets begin with 2 levels and numbers up to 20. The hardest sheet has 4 levels and numbers up to 1000. If you are introducing pyramid addition for the first time, these sheets will be perfect as they start off simply, moving up in difficulty for more able children. These are great for missing number problems.

This was great in the early days of online learning, after the Christmas break. I posted all of the levels and directed them to choose the page that best fit their skill level.

A fantastic resource for problem-solving and reviewing addition and subtraction strategies and number facts. we had covered magic number squares and needed a different activity that covered the same concept. This activity was slightly different and incorporated two-digit numbers.
