Description
In these 32 task cards, students will practice using the Pythagorean Theorem to find a missing side of a right triangle. Students will also have to use the Pythagorean Theorem to determine if the triangle given is a right triangle or not. An answer key is provided with both simplified radical answers and decimal answers rounded to the nearest tenth so that you can have your students answer whichever way you've been practicing in class.
There are 32 task cards included:
*#1-20 students will have to find the missing side of the triangle (side lengths are given as integers and as radicals)
*#21-32 students will have to use the Pythagorean theorem to determine whether the sides given form a right triangle or not.
A student recording sheet and answer key is provided. This is a PDF activity and while the questions are not editable, you can choose to omit certain cards when assigning to students.
Please take a look at the preview to make sure the activity is appropriate for your students!
