Description
This is Chapter 3 from our popular 100 Mathematical Python Exercises book. The workbook is very helpful for K12 Computer Science teachers who teach Intermediate Python, Algebra 1 etc.
This chapter contains probabilities related problems, lists manipulations, manipulation of "large" datasets (not really big data but it will give the students the flavor of what "bigger" data maybe), sorting, panda. There is also a problem on eliminating noise in datasets.
The objective of these problems is to prepare the students for a Data Science course.
The level is intermediate: the students have to have basic knowledge of coding in Python before approaching this material.
The book can be used at different levels, depending on where your students are: middle school, high school and even college!
Each problem contains:
- the text of the problem
- the Python code of two solutions: the procedural solution and the object oriented solution
