Decisions, decisions! How do computers make them? Kids learn why if statements are important in programming and how to program them through a simple guessing game.
What should the program do next? Controlling program flow is important in coding. And you can't make games without the ability to randomize numbers! This resource concentrates on the use of Boolean expressions and variables which will give kids the power to repeat programs properly so users can run the program until they decide to quit!
This entire unit centers around building a Guessing Game. Turtle While Loops and Random Structures showed kids how to control program flow and generate random numbers. The next stage in building a Guessing Game gives the user three chances to guess a number or to exit completely.
