Description

This PowerPoint introduces students to the 4 types of question and answer relationships by giving a brief description of each, then giving them an opportunity to see examples of each type and apply it to a short text. Presentation concludes with a flow chart that guides students in deciding which type of question they are working with. The flow chart was modified from one I saw on a blog. The teacher said she found it, but did not site the source. The last slide (flow chart) can be printed to put in students' notebooks as a reference tool.

One of the things we've noticed as a PLC is that students struggle with different types of questioning. This was super helpful in demonstrating the question-answer relationships.
