This Shape Treasure Hunt using QR Codes activity includes the following:
*Instructions for the Teacher
*A Shape book for recording 13 shapes
*13 QR Code Answer Cards and a Printable Answer Key
*12 Shape Riddle Cards with QR Code Answer Cards, a printable answer key and a response sheet for recording riddle answers.
Teachers:
Place the various shape cards (best to laminate) around the classroom. Have students assemble their mini-book before hand. They will take their Smartphone or tablet or IPAD and using a scanner app, read the code on each card. After determining what shape is hidden behind each code, they will be able to answer the additional questions on each of their pages of their booklet. A printable answer key is also provided.
Use the riddle cards (laminate) for an additional activity. After the children fill in their riddle response answer sheet they can check their answers using the QR Code cards (laminate) and a scanner app. A printable answer key is also provided.
**Teachers: You will need to download a QR Scanner App and have either a Smartphone or Tablet or IPAD to do this activity.
