Description

QR Code Addition is a fun, engaging way to build math fact fluency in the primary grades using technology. There are 104 addition problems included with answer sheets and answer keys. The set is printed on 13 pages (8 cards on each sheet). Once printed, the cards can remain on sheets for guided practice in small groups or projected on an interactive whiteboard. The cards can also be cut apart to be used in math centers or hung up around the classroom or hallway as a math QR code hunt.

The students solve the problems by writing the answers on the answer sheets. Then the students will check their answers using an iPod, iPad, iPhone, or android device. You will need a QR code reader (free app). My students use QR code readers such as
i-Nigma, Qrafter, and the QR reader by Tap Media.

You do not need WiFi to use this activity. Simply scan the QR codes with a QR Code reader to reveal the answers to the one-digit and two-digit addition problems.

Teachers can use the answer keys provided to check answers. This product can also be used as an assessment for Math Common Core standards.
