"I recorded my own videos & posted these QR codes this year for the first time. It cut way down on the times I needed to repeat basic information/procedures for my students. Definitely a helpful resource!"

Description

Managing classroom routines and procedures is something that takes high priority in my classroom. These posters contain QR codes that have answers to the most frequently asked questions that typically distract from productive class time! Include these in your back to school stations as you establish expectations at the start of the year or implement these when needed any time of the year.

Remember the ONE HUNDREDTH time a student asked you at the start of class "what did I miss when I was absent yesterday?" and you wanted to throw something across the room in frustration? This QR code FAQ system is your answer. Now, when this same, delightful student asks you that question, simply point him or her over to the posters on your wall, scan the code, and that question is answered by the INTERNET and not by you!

This product is a blueprint, a starting point for you. I'll get you started with the poster design and layout, but it's completely customizable to your personal classroom expectations!

WHAT YOU GET:

  • Detailed implementation directions and samples
  • 10 posters with frequently asked questions and a nature/mountain theme
  • 10 posters with frequently asked questions and a blank background
  • 6 posters with QR code boxes and the nature/mountain theme background
  • Be sure to download the preview to see a closer view of what's included!

WHAT YOU WILL STILL NEED TO CREATE:

  • The QR codes themselves! You'll need to create a place where the questions are answered (a Google doc, a Google slide, a video, etc.) . I hold your hand through this process in my directions guide and am also available to you via Instagram and email if you need help! I made some quick, thirty second videos using Snapchat and linked those videos to the posters. Now, when students scan the QR code, they can watch a video of me answering that question rather than bugging real-life me about it!

I plan to use this resource for my summer school students to give them quick references for important summer school information. Easy to set up and I love that there are blank versions. Will redo them for my regular classroom.
