QR Codes are the next big thing! QR Codes are a phenomenal way to incorporate technology to make your lessons more engaging. All you need is to cut and laminate, and you're ready to go! I like to place these at a work station with a device that can read QR Codes. You could use an ipod Touch, ipad, other tablet, or even a smartphone. Students get immediate feedback once the QR Code is scanned.
These QR Codes Geometry Activities gives 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders a fantastic opportunity to use technology while learning. This will really help your students who NEED motivation. In this QR Codes Geometry Activities, students will identify types of lines and angles (parallel, perpendicular, intersecting, acute, right, obtuse). They will also identify types of transformations (translations, reflections, and rotations), and they will find out how many lines of symmetry certain objects have. Last of all, students will identify types of geometric figures, find the number of faces, edges, or vertices, etc. This is great for practice or a review. A student recording sheet, 24 cards, and an answer sheet for the teacher is included in each set.
These QR Codes task cards may also be used with any of my game boards. Click on the FREE game board template below to view all my themed game boards.
