Description

Included in this document are 10 cards containing problems and answers. Students must write the quadratic equation in standard form given solutions or given a graph. They will complete each problem one at a time, then find the solution on the BACK of another card. Then they flip the card over and work out the next problem. Students should finish where they started. You are basically tricking them into doing a worksheet! There is also a recording sheet and an answer key.

This activity corresponds to Texas Algebra 1 TEKs:
-A.6C: write quadratic equations given real solutions and graphs (supporting)

This can be completed individually or in pairs, as a test review, homework assignment, classwork activity, left side practice in an interactive notebook, or station.

My students love these activities, because they can check themselves as they go, and work at their own pace.
