Description
This unit contains:
1. Webquest for quinceañera (initially on my TPT store). This is to be done before you introduce quinceañeras
2. 70 page powerpoint that talks about the history, tradition, process, ceremonial items, etc of a quinceañera.
3. Quinceañera ppt fill in (these are notes they take during the ppt presentation that will help them when they plan their quinceañeras)
3. Goal sheet (students will plan a quinceañera. This takes 3 weeks. Each week they have certain things they need to have for their quineañeras. At the end of 3 weeks they present the quinceañera to the class and then they vote who had the best quince)
4. Budgets for quinceañeras
This unit is what I do for 7th graders. They plan a quinceañera, we watch quince episodes from Quiero Mis Quince and My Dream Quinceañera. At the end, we watch a quinceañera movie. This is a good sub plan for 6 weeks, exploratory Spanish, or any Spanish project. You can tweak it to your needs.
