Description

I made this checklist as a way to help my students become more thoughtful as they worked to answer a R.A.C.E question. I find that if students can include these elements in their first draft, the they are more likely to complete their assignment correctly. Each part of the R.A.C.E strategy has already been taught to the students and is listed in the checklist as a reminder to be included in their answer. Students simply cut out the strip and tape or glue it along the side of their paper and check off the sections they have completed as they go. I have included a color copy that can be used as a way of having students color code their answer. After answering they can underline their work in the corresponding color. There is also a black line version to save on ink.
