Description

Your kiddos will enjoy looking for hidden words in this word search puzzle about Respect. This worksheet will help your students learn more and improve their vocabulary.

After finding all the words, your students can uncover the secret message by writing the unused letters on the blank spaces. They need to start from the underlined letter and move from left to right through each row, going down.

The words are hidden in different directions - horizontally across or backward, vertically up or down, diagonally up, down or backward. There are enough words to search in the square to make this more fun and interesting.

My students love these things! This was perfect for our "Word of the Month" SEL lessons in our school. We used it at the end of the month to wrap it all up. The students competed in groups to find all of the words and find the hidden message first, then we used the words within the word search to discuss ways in which we currently show respect both in and out of school and discuss things we could do if we weren't already.
