Unit 5: Number and Number Patterns

These vocabulary resources are tied to the 4th Grade Reveal Math program, but can be used with any math program. They include all vocabulary words within that unit, and potentially, some additional, applicable words. In the resource you will find two items:

1. A file with just the poster for easy printing.

2. A file with all of the resources.

The full resource file includes:

• Descriptions Page outlining contents
• Printing Suggestions
• Complete Vocabulary Sheet
  • Letter-Size vocabulary sheet with full unit vocabulary list. Vocabulary words include a definition and example.

• Fill-In Vocabulary Sheets
  • Letter-Size vocabulary sheet with pieces of information missing to use “fill-in the blank” style.
  • Letter-Size vocabulary sheets with examples missing to be written in. Definitions and words completely intact.
  • Can be print front/back. Can also be printed on a reduced scale to glue in math notebooks.

• Vocabulary Sorting Cards
  • Same main vocabulary components from previous slides made into sorting cards, including header cards so that students can match each vocabulary word with its definition and example.

• Vocabulary Word Wall Cards
  • Vocabulary word and example formatted into individual word wall cards that can be cut out and hung up. Definitions not included.

This unit includes the following words: multiple, factor pairs, composite number, prime number, sequence, term, pattern rule. More words to remember: factor, product, pattern.
