Description
Looking for help with RTI to progress monitor your students on a regular basis with basic problem solving skills? Need some extra problem solving practice for your students?
I have created 10 different progress monitoring assessments that focus solely on mixed problem solving. The problems include addition and subtraction (up to 3 digits), multiplication (up to two digits times 2 digit), and division (up to digits by 1 digit). There are also some simple 2 step problems included as well.
Each PMA is 6 questions and is designed to be completed in about 10-15 minutes. They include repetition of the most common problems that students struggle to understand. For example, students might be able to divide problems in which they need to put things into equal groups, but they struggle with division problems in which they must find the number of groups.
These can be used for enrichment in 3rd grade, on level work in 4th grade, or remediation in 5th grade.
I used these PMA's about once a weekly or biweekly in my small group tutorials to track the students progress, making sure that my intervention is working.
Hope these save you some time as you attempt to juggle paperwork demands of RTI.
