This activity requires students to self-assess their understanding and choose problems to complete based on that assessment. Typically, I ask students to rank their understanding on a stoplight β red means theyβre stuck, yellow they are doing okay, and green means theyβve got a complete understanding. The problems correspond to what level the student is at.
One page includes all 3 problem levels: easy, medium, and hard. This page is great as an exit ticket, bell ringer, or formative assessment.
Click HERE to buy task cards for the entire year of Algebra 2!
The resource also includes 4 βgreen lightβ or hard-level problems, 4 "yellow light" or medium-level problems, and 4 "red light" or easy-level problems. Print two-sided flipped over the long side to create self-checking cards that have the answer printed on the back. These are great for task cards, early finisher problems, or extra practice.
