Description
Spring Rain Count & Match File Folder Game:
This rain cloud file folder game is such a unique Spring-Themed activity and is super cute as well!
Your students will count how many raindrops are on each flashcard and then match it to the correct rain cloud with a numerical number on it. It’s a great way for your students to practice one-to-one correspondence as well as number recognition practice. The raindrops are also in rows of 5 so it’s a great activity to introduce the concept of ten frames.
Print, laminate, and attach the #2 pages with the number clouds on them to a file folder as well as the front cover. Then cut out and laminate the raindrop flashcards.
Once everything is laminated place a velcro dot on each rain cloud and then attach velcro dots to the opposite side of the raindrop flashcards. Your students will then count how many raindrops are on each flashcard and place it on the corresponding number.
I hope you and your students enjoy this resource as much as I enjoyed creating it. Please let me know if you have any questions and/or comments.
