Description
In this card sort, AP Statistics students sort 12 sampling scenarios into four random sampling methods: simple random sample, stratified random sample, cluster random sample, and systematic random sample.
You can have students cut and paste the scenarios onto the first page, or you can have them write the problem letter under the correct sampling method. You can also use the sampling scenarios as task cards!
This activity would be most useful after some direct instruction where the students are introduced to the sampling methods.
This resource is a PDF download, and an answer key is included!
