Looking for a no prep way to introduce rational function characteristics to your students? This notes activity is ready to print and go! And follows an editable PowerPoint.
In this rational function characteristics notes activity, students will be able to follow along with the PowerPoint slides and then fold their notes into their interactive notebooks. Students will learn about finding zeros, y-intercepts, holes, vertical asymptotes, horizontal asymptotes, and graphing rational functions. Additionally, there are four extra practice problems at the end of the PowerPoint that can be used for more guided practice, quick checks, quizzes, etc. Please note: Factoring is required (GCF, a = 1, a > 1, and difference of squares).
