This is a complete lesson for rational functions. It includes guided notes with an answer key, homework with an answer key, and a quiz (coming soon).
Students will be able to find horizontal and vertical asymptotes, describe end behavior, find x- and y-intercepts, and determine if and where any holes in the graph exist. The goal of the lesson is to accurately sketch a graph of any rational function.
Students should have experience factoring quadratics and factoring by grouping. A full preview is available. A quiz will be added within a few weeks.
