Description

This set of task cards features addition of positive and negative decimals!

This set includes:

  • 8 task cards
  • A quick-view answer key
  • A detailed answer key with possible student errors & common misconceptions
  • 2 options for recording sheets

What is a task card maze?

Each task card features an answer bank which directs students to a new card. Students can start at any task card and work their way from card to card. They will know they’ve made a mistake if they repeat a card. They will know they have completed the task cards correctly if they complete all of the cards and make it back to their original card without repeating any cards.

Why are there two answer keys?

The quick-view answer key shows the correct answers to each card. It also shows the order in which students should complete the cards through the maze.

The detailed answer key includes information on why a student may have got one of the incorrect answers on each task card. These are not the only possible incorrect answers, but are common errors many students tend to make. Use this detailed answer key to quickly identify common errors or misconceptions so you can assist your students!
