Description

This Unit Test covers Rational Number Operations including:

  1. Adding with Negative Numbers
  2. Subtracting with Negative Numbers
  3. Multiplying and Dividing with Negative Numbers

For each category, there are mild, medium, and spicy level problems - increasing in difficulty. Assign all levels to students or have them identify their level of understanding and complete mild, medium, or spicy accordingly. This provides an easy way to differentiate for a variety of learners and increase student metacognition in the studying and assessing process.

Included on the last page are 4 self-reflection questions for students to complete after taking the assessment.

This resource could also be used study materials before a unit assessment to ensure students are at the highest level of understanding for each category.
