"These circuits are such a great way for my students to practice concepts! I love that they are self-checking and help students correct their own mistakes. I was having a hard time finding resources for proportions involving quadratic equations, and these problems were perfect!"

Description

Rational Equations #3 Math Circuit Activity

This worksheet is designed to help your students master the skill of solving rational (proportion) equations through an engaging and interactive circuit activity. The worksheet contains 16 problems that require students to solve rational equations, with each problem leading to the next in a sequence that forms a complete circuit.

(Solve both linear and quadratic equations. Extraneous solutions are NOT included.)

In this circuit activity, students will start with problem #1, find the answer to #1 work the problem in that box and label this box #2. The answer to problem #2 will lead to #3 and so on. Students will continue in this manner until they complete the circuit, improving their mathematical skills and building their confidence as they go.

The circuit activity format is designed to keep your students motivated and engaged, as they work their way through the problems to complete the circuit. As they progress through the circuit, they will build their confidence and improve their understanding of solving rational equations.

The activity could be used as a class activity, station, or assigned homework.
