Description
This worksheet focuses on rationalizing the denominator with radicals. Students need to know how to simplify radicals (i.e. square root of 8 is 2 rad 2) for some of the problems. However, none of the problems involve using conjugates.
Each question corresponds to a matching answer that gets colored in to form a symmetrical design. Not only does this make it fun and rewarding for students but it also makes it easy for students and teachers to know if the worksheet has been completed correctly. Great for classwork, homework, additional practice, extra credit, and subs. The designs can also be cut out and quilted together to make a great art piece. The pdf file contains the worksheet and a key. Please download the preview file to see exactly what you will receive.

A good activity for the kids to learn and practice rationalizing a monomial denominator.
These are old-school. I used to love them, and I was surprised that they were available for purchase. They stand the test of time.
My students love these. They are so much fun! As always a great product
I really enjoyed this activity with my class.
I loved having this as a resource. We were working on this topic and this provided an extra avenue of practice.
