Description

This Common Core lesson focuses on reading comprehension of informational text. The lesson includes research-based strategies and strategic questions that prepare students for Common Core assessments. This lesson also aligns with 3.RI.1 Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers. In addition to the lesson, there are four pages of independent practice and review with questions modeled after the Common Core assessment items.

This lesson is a shockwave file (.swf) that is compatible with all web browsers and operating system on any PC, Mac, or Chromebook. Answers will pop onto the page with the click of a mouse or presentation remote.

This file is for use until July 1, 2016.

Too much on one page. It is very confusing to students. I had to spread it out a lot! I LOVED the content once it was easier to use.
