With Reader Writer the students began to link their language to literacy, which connects conceptual sketches to concrete structures. This connection guided students across the literary bridge and their route to reading intensified in expression and efficiency. So, I updated the PowerPoint frequently to appropriately challenge the confidence of beginning readers. The updates eventually led the students from drawing to writing, manipulating, and conceptually constructing common CVC words, blends, and digraphs as their expedition expanded across all areas of learning.
