Description
Reader's Theater: Rocks
We used this reader's theater script to review our study of rocks. As we practiced, students chose sound effects (s.e.) and gestures (ges) to enhance the theatrical experience.
The script has students practice reciting information about the three types of rocks (sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic), how to classify rocks, weathering, erosion, and deposition, the rock cycle, as well as the age of the Earth. It's a quick review to help build vocabulary and practice terms.
