Description

Check out this cool, interactive, digital resource for reading CVC words. It includes word to picture matching, phonemic blending and is self-checking for beginner readers. It is also great for distance learning and homeschooling.

The digital slides allow early readers to practice phonemic blending skills through over- learning. The slides can be used independently as they are self-checking. Children are encouraged to blend the letter sounds together using the arrow at the bottom of each word as a guide to show the correct direction for reading. The dot under the final letter is a reminder to add emphasis to the final consonant sound as some children often say the last sound too softly while blending and therefore are unable to identify the word.

Remember to use this resource in 'presentation mode' for the best results. Check out our sample preview!

The digital resource includes:

  • 64 google slides
