Description
This is a sample of the training materials that we use at the beginning of the year to train our students on how to read and answer their passage questions for 6 minute solution. There is also an explanation of how we set up our program. We use questions 121 -125 to train students the 1st week of school. These are part of the 100 level product and the 100-500 level bundle. We developed these questions in order to work on comprehension with the 6 minute solution materials that we were having our students read for Homework. Repeated reading is a great way to build fluency. We wanted more bang for our buck and decided to work on the comprehension at the same time. We use in in our 3rd grade classes for students reading below grade level. We strategically teach them how to refer to the text and underline details. Our Title 1 and LAP teachers love it and use it for progress monitoring in their groups.
You must already have the Primary Version of 6 Minute Solution in order to use these materials. The passages are NOT INCLUDED in the product. You can search for them on the internet.
