Macaws Reading Comprehension includes a set of 12 original reading passages for emergent and early readers. Each original reading passage has four multiple choice questions and a space to read and draw. All passages are illustrated with high quality photographs and provided in color and black and white.
Other No Prep printable include sentence scrambles and graphic organisers.There are also 25 macaw word wall cards. US and Australian spelling versions provided.
The reading passages may be used as the focus of a whole class teaching activity, as part of a guided reading session, during buddy reading or as independent work.

My kiddos loved these passages and they are at the perfect level for comprehension.
The content was detailed without being information overload for my students. They especially enjoyed the pictures and being able to make their own illustrations. The comprehension questions were quite easy for my students, but they enjoyed the exercises nonetheless.
