Description
I loved using this graph to help students monitor their progress. The students would fill in their progress with crayon. For my younger students I would first place a pencil line on their graph showing how many words per minute they read, then they would color. For the goal setting portion, I like to store them in plastic sleeves and bring them out as I meet with each student. At that conference, the students write in their goals with a whiteboard marker so it can be changed throughout the trimester. I found this to be very helpful for parent/teacher conferences as well. The parents appreciated this visual representation of their child's growth. This versatile chart can be used for fluency, vocabulary, spelling, and so much more.
