I created this Reading Homework system for my students, and it helped my students keep track of their thinking while reading and growing as readers (and it can help your students, too!)!

Each night, students "Free Read" for 20 minutes and write a Sticky Note sharing their favorite part (or sad part, exciting part, etc...). They keep their Sticky Notes on a weekly recording sheet in their Sticky Note Reading folder and share what they wrote the next day with a friend (and possibly with the whole class during Morning Meeting).
