Students will engage and interact while creating their notebook about informational text and gain a concrete understanding of the concepts and practice using the skills in fun and unique ways. This notebook is truly interactive. Students will create foldables, pockets, glue-ins and so many of their own examples. Students will interact with their notebook in so many ways and will use it as a reference guide while applying what they learned about informational text. Each page includes an "I can" statement with the standard stated in kid-friendly language.This interactive notebook for reading informational text includes 2 separate sections.
Part 1 is designed to teach your students elements of literature through engaging and interactive foldables, sorts, pockets, glue-ins and more. This section includes a completed example of each page. It also includes teacher directions complete with definition and examples, so the prep work is already done for you.
