Teachers must consider multiple learning styles and multiple intelligences present in the classroom. This lesson will appeal to many types of learners, particularly, those who have bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. These children process knowledge through bodily sensations. They are often athletic, dancers or good at crafts such as sewing or woodworking. The purpose of the lesson is to explore reading and language arts through active participation in order to better understand the feelings and emotions associated with moving from one place to another.
