This reading log helps students read with purpose. It works great for homework. Students answer one of the three questions:

1) What was your favorite part? Why? (Fiction)

2) Was the story funny? Why or why not? (Fiction)
3) Write two interesting facts that you learned. (Non-fiction)

The students also rate their story in the last column by coloring in the icons.
