GENRE SPECIFIC DETAILED GUIDE
How to use:
- Print and post the genre-based annotation guide in the classroom as an anchor chart and or print at 80% to fit in journals to refer back to.
- Have students take a sheet of blank white paper and fold it down the middle (vertically) then fold both ends in to create 6 separate boxes. This is where they will list their annotations as they use online passage/selection formats.
- if there are more than six passages, they may use the back side of the paper.
