Reading, ‘Riting and ‘Rithmetic – Hummel Dee

These activities would be especially helpful on an unexpected substitute day – productive and can be prepared ahead of time.

The Reading, ‘Riting and ‘Rithmetic – Hummel Dee activities would be a wonderful independent or partner work packet for one of those times when

you have to get something ready for the office, a fellow teacher, a parent, etc…

This packet contains:

· a short story with vocabulary words underlined,

· vocabulary sheet and worksheet,

· reading helper, a guide for decoding,

· math (addition and/or multiplication) facts practice word puzzle,

· an answer sheet for the math facts practice sheet, and

· ‘riting (printing or cursive) practice sheet with a motivational quote

. motivational quote may be used as a journal starter.
