Over the last 29 years I have taught from public schools to private schools and everywhere in between! I currently teach middle school Literature, English, Study Skills, and Reading Intervention. In the past I have taught K, 1, and 2, as well as, high school Reading, ELA, Study Skills, and Dance. I currently hold licenses in K-6 Elementary Education, 5-8 ELA, and K-12 Reading, and I am also in the process of completing a K-12 GT certificate and a K-12 Dance License.

This is an organizing worksheet I created to help students learn how to structure an essay. This organizer includes topic, developing a thesis, organizing paragraphs, and a conclusion. Although it can be used with any grade level that is working on these tasks, I have found it to be a very good tool for use with middle school students and reading/writing intervention students at the high school level.
