I created a skills sheet for each of the stories in the new 2013 Reading Street. It has the spelling words, high frequency words, amazing words, comprehension strategies, phonics, and writing skills for each story in unit one. It would work great on the back of your newsletter to provide essential information for parents on the skills covered each week. It is also a great tool when planning your lessons. I included a list of the guided readers for the unit and two quick reference sheets for all the skills covered in this unit. (There are three different designs to choose from.)
