Want your students writing more? Being engaged in the Big Book from Reading Street you read on a weekly basis? Well, here you go!! The Unit 4 Roll & Write covers supplement resources to continue to engage your students and pairs along with your story for the week. In accordance with the Kindergarten Reading Street Units, your students will be able to connect text with writing for each reading book.
Unit 5 includes Max Takes the Train, Mayday Mayday, Trucks Roll!, The Little Engine that Could, On the Move!, and This is the way we go to school. Your students will use dice to roll and create their own sentence stories by choosing the character, setting, and plots of each story. For our informational text, your children will create sentences by choosing the animal, habitat, and survival needs of the text.
Included are Word Work options, such as Unscramble the Sight Word!
