These slide shows have everything you need to make the direct instruction part of Ready Gen easy! Each lesson in my Ready Gen slide shows includes the "I Can Statement" ("I am Learning to" in my district), Standard Number, Enduring Understanding, Essential Questions, Vocabulary, Purpose, Turn and Talk, Cite Text Evidence, Reading Analysis, and a review of the I Can Statement so the children can rate themselves on their learning. You won't even need the teacher's manual!
