Description
Four reading packets for the book Ready Player One by Earnest Cline. They are broken up into:
Chapters 0-10
Chapters 11-20
Chapters 21-30
Chapters 31-39
Each packet contains reading and content questions. Some opinion questions are included. There are a few research questions where students have to look up what a referenced item is. Longer writing and drawing prompts are at the end about Avatars and creating your own game. Within the questions I have placed links to videos or online games that are relevant to the pop culture references or gaming aspects of the book. There are pictures of various pop culture items that the book references so that students can see what is being discussed. Each packet has it's own unique border with gaming characters that separate the chapters. Each chapter is broken down into chronological order of the reading.
Total there are over 330 questions and about 30 links. Broken down as:
Chapters 0-10 = 77 Questions and 7 links
Chapters 11-20 = 106 Questions and 11 links
Chapters 21-30 = 78 Questions and 6 links
Chapters 31-39 = 69 Questions and 5 links
An answer key is included!
All questions are relevant to the plot and character development! All of the links are relevant to the story! These are not minuscule random questions that ask students what happened on page 102, line 3.
This document is in a word document so that you can make changes yourself! You can add or subtract questions as you see fit. Unlike in an adobe document where you are stuck with exactly what the creator made.
There are 36 pages of questions, links, and pictures. The answer key is 37 pages long. And all of these pages are filled with content! Not random nonsense like lesson plans on how to use them or what the learning standards are. You already know how you are going to use these questions. You already know what standards reading this book is covering. I'm not wasting your time with "fill" here.
