Description
This manual is written for use with Nasco’s Ready or Not Tot baby simulation. The Standard Instruction Manual provided with the manikin was used as a reference for certain sections of this manual. This project is a parenting simulation. The manikin cries, coos, burps, and needs a diaper change throughout the day and night. Students are responsible for providing proper care as if it were a real baby. Students are graded on their ability to care for the baby’s needs and complete related written assignments. The written assignments include research on the financial and emotional stressors related to caring for an infant. Students also complete two journal entries and a reflection. A rubric and teacher's guide is included as well.
