Real Life Arrays - Picture Cards and Recording Sheets
Share

Description

This product has 24 real life array pictures and two different worksheets to use. These cards could be used as a 'scoot' game or could be placed on each table. Work through as many cards as you like per time (maybe start with the first 12... then the next lesson move onto the next 12).

Students are to look at each card (they are also numbered for convenience), and using a worksheet, write the __row of __ and the repeated addition sum for the corresponding number. The other worksheet requires students to write the multiplication sum and the repeated addition.

This story helped my students make connections between real world examples and abstract representations when working with arrays.
