This was a great activity for my class to do while there was a sub.
Great life skills math activity! Practical activity and my students enjoyed completing it.
I am an Aide in high school Business Math class. take. We have four life skills students in the class. Another Aide an I take them out a couple days a week and work with them on specific money exercises. This set of worksheets are so helpful and they can do them on their own for the most part. They have a sense of independence which is wonderful for their confidence building. We even shared this regular ed class and they completed the tasks. It is a very good lesson for both classes.
Thank you for letting us use your worksheets to help our students.
Students had a blast and couldn’t believe that they were assigned to “shop” during class.
Great resource to teach this topic to students with significant needs at the high school level. The pictures are age appropriate.
I used this in my FACS class in MIddle School. The kids found this a great project as they got to "shop" for any clothing they liked. It made them see just how expensive clothes are, and that it's difficult to stay on budget.
There were times when I had low attendance due to absence. I used this resource when I had a small group of students, and it was great to be able to work with them on more of a 1 - to - 1 basis. It really helped to put what they had learned about decimals into meaningful practise!
Great resource, thanks for sharing!
