Great value
Standards-aligned
This math resource was a huge success in my classroom. The content was clear and easy for students to follow, and I saw strong understanding as we worked through the activities. It is well aligned to standards, which made planning and pacing simple. My students were highly engaged and especially loved the self-checking format, which gave them immediate feedback on their answers. Being able to see right away whether they were on the right track helped build confidence and keep them motivated. From a teacher perspective, the no-prep setup was amazing. I could focus on supporting students instead of spending time preparing materials. This resource is both student-friendly and teacher-friendly, and I would absolutely use it again and recommend it to other math teachers.

Know that numbers that are not rational are called irrational. Understand informally that every number has a decimal expansion; for rational numbers show that the decimal expansion repeats eventually, and convert a decimal expansion which repeats eventually into a rational number.
Use rational approximations of irrational numbers to compare the size of irrational numbers, locate them approximately on a number line diagram, and estimate the value of expressions (e.g., π²). For example, by truncating the decimal expansion of √2, show that √2 is between 1 and 2, then between 1.4 and 1.5, and explain how to continue on to get better approximations.
