Description

This resource takes my printable and collaborative Real World Math Checkbook Activity and brings it to Google Slides in a way that is digitally accessible and independent for your students!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This real world checkbook lesson is a great way to introduce students to writing checks and balancing checkbooks. Students start out with a review of adding and subtracting decimals, are shown detailed checks and transaction registers and given the opportunity to practice writing checks and balancing a checkbook. They are then put into cooperative learning groups for further practice.

I have a classroom economy in my math class in which my students are owners of a checking account. This is a great tool to refresh their memory on the proper way to fill out a check.
