This Real-World Rates Maze is an interactive activity to allow students to practice calculating rates from real-world scenarios by finding the unit rate. Students will calculate rates involving positive numbers. Once they answer a question, they will look for their answer in one of the arrows and follow that direction to next question until they get to the “finish”.

This quick activity provided the students with a challenge but gave me as the teacher an easy way to see if the students could solve basic unit rate. I paired this worksheet with another one for a homework assignment.
